Weekend madness!
So this weekend is shaping up to be a pretty hectic one. Kicking off the festivities (as we all know, in Montreal the weekend officially starts on Thursday!) is my boss’ birthday/fundraising party tonight. I have a million and five things to take care of, like picking up the booze and food, supplying music, coordinating…so much for a relaxed evening, but if all is okay at 8:30 I’m going to have a well-deserved glass of wine.
Friday = poss. drinks with some Clevelanders after work, then Lior and Julia’s goodbye dinner :( Seeing as I passed out on Tuesday night and didn’t wind up going out with them, this is literally my last chance to hang out before they both depart. End of an era…
Saturday, don’t ask me why, but I have scheduled a breakfast date. In future, these should really only occur after a night spent together, thus negating need to set one’s alarm on the weekend. I rest my case. I also have agreed to tour guide for the son of one of my mom’s friends in the late afternoon. No beach this weekend!
